The Skill Development is camp is designed to improve individual skills in controlled settings while learning the core fundamentals of individual skill development. We encourage the participants of this camp to meet new teammates and make new friends in a safe, positive and fun environment. Each day will consist of two 1-hour ice sessions, a dryland session, and a lecture. Skills focussed on will include, but are not limited to:
- Power skating technique
- Puck handling technique
- Applying basic skills to game situations
- Conditioning
- The lecture will cover:
- Team building
- Public Speaking
- Sport Psychology
